How
they're made:
Using a special
type of ink and paper a transfer is printed out to place on the aluminum
tag(s). When the tag is put into the heat press at the right temperature,
it changes the ink (a solid) to a gas. The gas is pressed into a coating
on the aluminum and when it cools, the ink becomes solid again, but it's
now a permanent part of the surface. This is why the tags are so durable,
as the information is part of the surface, so it's very difficult to scratch
it and it won't peel or rub off.
